It has been a very busy and rewarding last two weeks for our lodge, and it continues to prove that we truly have the best members.

On Mother’s Day, we held our annual Mother’s Day program, which was well attended. The brunch was delicious, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful program honoring mothers.

Last Thursday, we proudly installed four new members into our lodge: Chance Copley, Jaquelle Copley, Quade Valerio, and Jared Johnson. We are excited to welcome them and look forward to their involvement in our Elks family.

This past Saturday, our members had the opportunity to help prepare Camp Wapiti for the summer season. We also cleaned up the Elks Cemetery lot and completed a cleanup project at the lodge. That evening, we gathered for Social Night, enjoyed pizza, and held a doubles pool tournament. (We definitely have some pool sharks in this lodge!) It was a blast.

Today, we awarded $4,000 in scholarships to four outstanding Tintic High School seniors. It was inspiring to see the incredible support our community gives to its youth, something that was very evident at the awards ceremony.

One of the Elks mottos is: Elks Care, Elks Share. The past two weeks have been a true testament to those words. Our members have freely given their time, energy, and resources to support our community, our youth, and one another.

Thank you to everyone who continues to make Tintic Lodge #711 such a positive force in our community.

Get ready for a fantastic Saturday! We've got a jam-packed day ahead of us, starting with a 9:00 AM meetup at Camp Wapiti where we'll roll up our sleeves and get the facilities shipshape for the year.

Next, we'll head to the Eureka Cemetery to put the Elks section in order for Memorial Day, arriving around 2:30-3:00 PM.

Later, at 5:00 PM, join us at the lodge for an evening of fun and games at our Social Night, where members in good standing can compete in a doubles 8-ball tournament for prizes and enjoy some delicious pizza.

If you have any questions, just reach out to one of our officers. We're looking forward to a day of service, friendship, and enjoyment - see you there!
