Since November 2017, our mission is to inspire children to: Dream More, Learn More, Care More and Be More through reading by supplying all children from birth to age 5, residing in Carroll County, AR, FREE age-appropriate developmental books on a monthly basis, mailed directly to them in their homes, no matter what the family’s income or citizenship. The books are not just any book but are selected by Dolly Parton's Imagination Library dedicated national team of child development specialists, parents and teachers and evaluated for results yearly. We fund the costs of distribution, amounting to $26/year per child and raise money through private and corporate donations, as well as grants. We are an IRS 501c(3) designated organization, with a 99% 4-star rating by Charity Navigator and have also been awarded the Platinum Seal by Guidestar. To Donate Visit:

Join us for the Grand Opening of our Imagination Library Story Trail on June 9, 2026 at 11:00am on the Eureka Springs Community Center Lawn! There will be free refreshments, yard games, and a special surprise for all the kiddos!

Our first statewide Parent Survey shows that families are reading more often, children are more interested in books, and parents feel more confident reading together.

For some families, these books are making an even bigger difference—providing access to books that weren’t previously in the home.
