Candidate Forum Thursday, February 5th. The public is invited.
Announcement: The Grassy K**b Auxiliary is pleased to host a candidate forum on February 5, 2026. It will be held at the Grassy K**b Community Center at 12037 Highway 187, Eureka Springs, AR. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., and the forum will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. The public may submit one question per position (Senate, House, Judge, etc.) between 5:00 and 5:20 p.m. The time and number of questions for the candidates will be limited due to the number of candidates attending and to give adequate time for their responses.
State Positions will start at 5:30 p.m. (AR State Senate District 28, AR State House District 6, and Prosecuting Attorney). County positions (JP2 and Judge) will begin approximately between 6:45 and 7. There will be a break prior to the second set of candidate speeches.
Candidates that will appear on Grassy K**b ballots have been invited to speak and take questions. Questions must be submitted prior to 5:20 and drawn randomly from a box for each position. Questions should be for elected position, not a specific candidate. Questions directed at a specific candidate will be thrown out. We intend this forum to be fair and impartial as well as respectful toward the candidates and the public in attendance.
Doors open at 5:00
Questions for the candidates must be submitted no later than 5:20.
Candidates will begin speaking promptly at 5:30 and 7 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who helped decorate the cut through! It took 12 people 3.5 hours to put up decorations. We will also have to remove them the first week of November. If you would like to donate to the Auxiliary for next years' decorations you may send a check to the Grassy K**b Auxiliary 12037 Hwy. 187, Eureka Springs, AR 72631, Attn. Grassy K**b Auxiliary, Halloween.

Remember how cool the cut through was decorated last October? Well, we need about a dozen volunteers to make it happen again. We will need to decorate sometime between October 12 and 19. Our normal helpers and organizers are unable to lead in 2025. Can you help make this happen? PM me or you can get my contact information on grassyk**bfire.org. Without YOUR help we will not be decorating in 2025.
