The Wishing Doll Project : Eunice, Louisiana A Full Circle Community Art Project. The Wishing Doll Project is a Full Circle Community Art Project. The average adoption fee is around $5 per doll.

Wishing Dolls are made using donated materials and then put up for adoption. People have been very generous in adopting dolls & equally as generous in their donations. East Elementary is a HPHP (High Poverty, High Performance) School in our Community. This year, East Elementary will be receiving an Outdoor Reading Garden from The Wishing Doll Project. This area will have animal seating... Little G

iraffes, Elephants, Turtles and Alligators made of concrete and painted bright colors for children to enjoy story time in the sunshine. The area may also be used for the exploration of musical instruments and Art advancement. This Reading Garden is to be set up at the school in the Spring time. Please check The Eunice News for pictures of the children enjoying their new Reading Garden in the future. As the end of the school year approaches, Todd Elliot of The Eunice News, will randomly select the next local elementary school that will benefit from the Wishing Doll Project next year.( The names in the hat will be Glendale, Highland, & Eunice Elementary.) This will continue through the years until we have touched every public school in our community. We need your help to make it all happen! I understand that life is very busy and the great thing is this; If you don't have time to help make the dolls, you can donate materials. If you don't have materials, you can adopt a doll!
