At this time, we are still on for this event.

As are most of you, we are keeping an eye on the weather. This has been and remains a rain or shine event (with the exceptions of major storm interference). At the moment, the forecast appears to have the rains subsiding by lunch on Sunday with a mostly clear afternoon. We will do everything in our power to keep this event open and functional for our community and vendors.

We cant wait to have some family fun on campus!

Trunk or Treat isn’t our only event open to the community this October! Our Campus Activities Board is hosting a color run. All ages are welcomed to register. Early registration closes tomorrow, September 25th.

The Fiesta de Colores 5K is on Saturday October 4, 2025. It includes the following events: Non-Student Registration 5K and LSUE Student Registration 5K - *FREE.

Staff Appreciation Week was a huge success! Saturday, we took home 2nd place for best decorated booth at the Etouffee Cook-off. Thank you, Andrea Duplichan (Student Success Center), for creating such an amazing display. Thank you, Zac Soileau (IT), for cooking up another delicious etouffee.
On Monday, staff members were able to be baristas at the coffee bar in front of the library.
On Tuesday, Mo’Crawfish catered our crawfish boil. We were so excited to be able to offer this to staff again.
On Thursday, Chancellor Sorenson sponsored our Ice Cream Cart. Staff were able to visit the ice cream cart to select a tasty treat.
On Friday, staff were encouraged to bring their dogs to work with them. All pups were very well behaved and left with doggie bags of treats.
A huge thank you to senator, Michelle Richard (Science & Math). Without her help, this week wouldn’t have ran so smoothly or successfully.
To our donors, THANK YOU! Without your generosity, all of these activities woudn’t have been possible.
To our staff, THANK YOU for all that you do for LSUE and its students! It’s been a pleasure celebrating you this past week!
