ALPA members are provided access to computer message bulletin boards sponsored by ALPA
International and their respective Master Executive Councils under terms and conditions set forth in policies established by the ALPA Executive Board. Your access to this message bulletin board is contingent upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions. ALPA members that violate these policies will be denied access to the site. Users of ALPA Message Bulletin Boards should be governed by their obligations under the ALPA Code of Ethics. In keeping with that Code, users should ensure that their participation at all times brings credit to the profession and to ALPA as well as to themselves, and users should neither falsely nor maliciously injure the professional reputation, prospects, or job security of any other pilot. Material placed on ALPA Message Bulletin Boards shall:
a. not include any campaign literature;
b. not be obscene or use profanity;
c. be consistent with ALPA's legal obligations, including statutory obligations, court orders and contractual agreements;
d. not be used for commercial purposes;
e. not advocate the certification of a different collective bargaining representative of employees represented by ALPA; and
f. not include personal threats. Copyrighted material may not be placed on ALPA Message Bulletin Boards without the permission of the owner(s). An ALPA Member who places material on an ALPA Message Bulletin Board is individually responsible for that material. Accordingly, the views expressed in any messages are solely those of the individual writers, and are not necessarily the views of ALPA. Material that does not conform with these terms and conditions may be removed, and the individuals who place such non-conforming material on ALPA Message Bulletin Boards may be subject to discipline under ALPA's disciplinary procedures. Information that is posted on ALPA Message Bulletin Boards is not secure, and may be viewed by persons who are not ALPA members.
