🎃 Pumpkins. Books. Imagination. 📚

This October, 80,947 Oregon children are receiving a new Imagination Library book in the mail.

That’s 80,947 little readers getting a new story to discover, a new world to explore, and another reason to cozy up and read together. 🍂

And behind every one of those books is a community making it possible.

To our Local Program Partners, donors, volunteers, libraries, businesses, and community champions across Oregon: thank you for helping put books into the hands of Oregon’s youngest readers. 💙

Dolly created the Imagination Library.

Happy reading, Oregon! 🎃📚

Give Like Dolly Day is today!

It takes a community to make the Dolly Parton Imagination Library possible here in Columbia County, and we are incredibly grateful for the many partners who help us get books into the hands of local children.

Today, we’re celebrating the Regional Head Start Administrative Team, pictured here with Dolly! Head Start is an important partner in helping families enroll their preschoolers — and their siblings — so they can begin building their very own early learning libraries at home. 📖✨

Thank you to Head Start and all of our community partners who help make this program possible!

💗 Help us carry out this mission and honor Dolly’s legacy by Giving Like Dolly.

💗 Oregon, this one is for you.

Give Like Dolly Day is September 25th! 📚✨

Dolly Parton dreamed boldly. She created the Imagination Library — and she called Local Program Partners the true heroes who take that dream and make it their own.

Across our state, communities are coming together to put books into the hands of children, month after month. Local Program Partners make that possible by raising the funds to cover the cost of books and mailing for children in their communities.

On September 25th, show your local Imagination Library program some love:

📚 Find your local program.
💗 Make a gift to help provide books to local children.
📣 Share their work with your community.

When Oregon comes together, we can make a huge impact.

Dolly dreamed boldly.
Oregon communities bring it to life.

Let’s Give Like Dolly. 💗

Make a donation and support Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in communities around the world and help put more books into the hands of more children.
