The Power and Hope Conference Vision
NOW may the GOD of Hope Fill YOU with all JOY and PEACE in BELIEVING, that you may
ABOUND in HOPE by the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT. –Romans 15:13
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is the tree of life (Proverbs 13:12).”
When hope has been deferred for too long, we can easily mistake indifference and apathy for peace. Rather than facing the pain of deferred hope or admitting the heartbreak of lost dreams, we can shut down our true desires and mask our disappointments by saying that God has given us peace. Or…any other number of things that sound nice and religious while we endure the hollow existence of living a passionless life. But the time has come to resurrect our old, forgotten dreams and take the risk of daring to hope again. He has reserved fulfilled dreams and desires for such a time as this for He loves to reveal His magnificent light in the midst of intense darkness. While the whole world seems to be spinning further into darkness and people are fighting despair and hopelessness, our God, who never concedes defeat, has a plan to use us to do impossible and mighty things to literally save the world. It will surely take the impossible and it will surely be through us, His children. Come to Power and Hope and be ignited as a reformer! Your hopes are actually God’s dreams for you and He intends to fulfill them so that you can be connected to the tree of life! God’s blueprint for victory is written in your hopes and dreams! Come expecting to hear a specific word from God for your life!
