HOPE believes collaboration builds better communities. We partner with Lane Education Service District and Lane Career Technical Education to help high school students from 16 school districts connect their passion to real careers. One part education, one part industry-recognized credentials, and one part community impact-driven experience, HOPE Factory students experience firsthand working alongside industry professionals. Since 2024, through Lane Career Academy’s HOPE Factory, over 100 students:
• Attended high-quality, hands-on classes linked to career pathways.
• Learned valuable vocational trade skills such as welding, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and manufacturing.
• Earned high school/college credit, BOLI Pre-Apprenticeship Certification, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, and NCCER credentials, all in a real-world factory setting.
• Gained real-world experience with local employers that boost graduation rates, achievement, and career success.
We estimate 20% of the hands-on work on our homes, including welding, carpentry, electrical and plumbing, are completed by these outstanding students.

Our vision is to help eliminate the housing crisis in our communities with affordable housing. Our state-of-the-art factory is in Eugene, OR.

Take just 60 seconds to see a video of how we put the roof! Our factory controlled environment ensures materials are protected from the elements during construction, maintaining their integrity. Buyers can expect a higher level of quality that surpasses conventional builds, resulting in fewer issues such as draftiness or structural weaknesses that can arise from exposure to moisture and temperature shifts.

In our factory controlled setting, we avoid common pitfalls of traditional on-site construction, where rain, wind, and fluctuating temperatures can jeopardize materials and workmanship. Every component is manufactured to precise specifications and monitored while being assembled, which reduces the likelihood of errors that can occur in traditional building processes.
