May 3rd: Soirée - Volunteers needed for set up and clean up! You can enjoy the event during 🎉
May 5-9: Teacher appreciation - many volunteers needed on various days. Sign up genius coming soon, but if you are interested in helping please email [email protected] or respond to this post
June 4th: Jog-a-thon - set up, counting laps, clean up. Need to have gone through 4J orientation training.

Did your child come home with a unique piece of pottery?! Well we have our lovely parent and PTO volunteer to thank for that!

Did you know the money we raise from Soirée helps us fund unique projects like our artist in residence program which allows unique experiences like this for our children!. We couldn’t do it without you - our Charlemagne community!

Tomorrow is the Costume Parade if your child wishes to participate!
Costume Rules:
- Costumes will be worn all day, so plan accordingly (weather, recess, PE)
- Cultures are not costumes!
- No slippers, flip flops, weapons, or accessories (ie wands)
- No masks or facepaint (small decorations like whiskers are ok)
- Nothing bloody or gory, we don't want to scare little kids!

It's going to be a blast, let's have FUN!

Charlemagne Families! In order to be compliant with our new bylaws and have a consistent method for contacting you about PTO developments, we need to have you register as a PTO member. Membership is FREE and only requires you fill out a form for each student attending the school.

Silver lining: we'll also be able to use these records as a PTO School Directory, which you can use to contact families for playdates, parties, class activities, and other get togethers!

Have you seen our new Buddy Bench on the playground? Thanks to Leadership Club 2022-2023, dedicated families, and PTO funds, this bench replaces the bench that went missing during COVID. Bigger, better, and handmade by dedicated grandparent Dick Zeller, the bench has finally been installed by 4J Facilities. Our students now have a place to sit and indicate they'd like to join in with other classmates while at recess.

Thank you for your dedication, Charlemagne! 💜
