🎉 First week back? You made it!

Between new routines, busy mornings, schoolwork, and everything in between, the first week can feel like a lot.

So tonight, keep it simple. 💛

🎬 Movie night
🍦 Ice cream
🎮 Extra playtime
🫶🏾 Just time together

Sometimes the best celebration is simply saying:

“You did it. I'm proud of you.”

✨ Tell us—what's your family's favorite way to celebrate making it through a big week?

🎒 Back to school means new conversations!

Ask your kid:

💬 “What’s one thing you’re excited about for this school year?”

Start with the excitement. The harder feelings can come naturally after. 💚

Ask tonight and tell us their answer! 👇

Whatever this next season brings, you’re not starting from zero. You’re bringing every bit of strength, love, and patience you’ve already proven you have.

Comment 🙌 if you’re walking into this new season with more confidence than you think.

Before backpacks take over, summer deserves one proper send-off.

This week’s Fun Friday: gather the people who made this summer good for one last hangout — a backyard cookout, a park meetup, whatever fits. As families gear up for the new school year, remember that programs like ours only stay free because this community shows up for them.

☀️ Every summer teaches us something—even the ones that feel like a blur.

Before the season fades, ask your child:

💬 “What did summer teach you?”

Their answer might surprise you.

👉 Share this with a family and start the conversation.

☀️ SUMMER ENDS. THE JOY DOESN’T HAVE TO. 💛

New routines.
New classrooms.
New schedules.
New seasons.

Change is a part of growing up—but that doesn’t mean our kids have to leave their joy behind.

Today’s Kids’ Words of Affirmation reminds them:

✨ “I can hold onto summer joy, even when things change.”

The beach days may end.
The late mornings may end.
The carefree afternoons may end.

But the laughter, memories, friendships, adventures, and little moments that made summer special?

Those can stay with them. 🌈

Let’s teach our children that growing and changing doesn’t mean giving up the things that make them happy. It means learning how to carry that joy with them into whatever comes next. 💛

💬 Ask your child:

“What is one thing from this summer that you want to carry with you into the new school year?”

👉 Save this affirmation for your child’s transition into a new season.

💬 Tell us: What summer memory will your child hold onto?

📲 Share this with a parent whose child is getting ready for a new beginning.
