EMFC Little Metro Program

The EMFC Little Metro program is designed for children of all levels to participate, enjoy, and learn to play soccer. We offer four seasonal Little Metro programs to accommodate and provide opportunities for as many families to participate. Little Metro practice sessions will aim to introduce, teach, and the skills needed to play the game of soccer at young ages of 4-10. At these young ages, playe

rs are encouraged to play with the ball as often as possible in order to learn movements and skills necessary to fully enjoy playing for years to come. Kids are encouraged to play and experiment with the ball and will become increasingly confident in controlling and moving the ball in a variety of playing situations. Little Metro Game Days will take place on Fridays. Game Days are focused on maximizing player enjoyment of playing and providing opportunities for players to express themselves creatively in a positive environment. The Little Metro programs are staffed by EMFC coaches and senior players within the club. Practice plans are developed and designed with reference to US Soccer Federation Grassroots principles. All EMFC staff coaches live and play in our community and have been part of the soccer community for a number of years. The program and its coaches are under the direction of the EMFC Little Metro Director Aden Farina-Henry.
