The Oregon Social Learning Center is a non-profit, research center dedicated to increasing the scientific understanding of social and psychological processes related to healthy development and family functioning. We value high-quality scientific research that powerfully and positively impacts the well-being of children and families through informing parents, professionals and policy makers. We are
the first behavioral center to treat the family as a unit rather than focus on each member individually. The Oregon Social Learning Center scientists have received national and international awards in recognition of their contributions to theory, prevention and treatment. The Oregon Social Learning Center has worked with a wide variety of funding agencies including: the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, United Way and the Springfield, South Lane and Bethel school districts. OSLC has more than 20 researchers with diverse interest in projects but they share common objectives: strengthening children and family.
