A non-profit composed of young professionals who volunteer and fundraise to benefit local children's charities. Some include:
1.

The Children's Legacy Foundation (CLF) Network is focused on serviceable citizenship in the community of Oregon's Lane County and specifically works to improve the quality of life for underserved children.
-Our Network is comprised of people between the ages of 21 and 50.
-We hold general meetings every first and third Tuesday of the month.
-Our Board of Directors meets every second and fourth week of the month.
-Members of the CLF Network donate tens of thousands of hours every year in order to serve children's charities in Lane County. There are many ways our Network helps the community. We staff projects held by other children's organizations to help them raise money.
2. We organize and staff hands-on projects where we work directly with children.
3. We organize and staff projects put on by our Network in order to raise money that is then redistributed to the dozens of local charities dedicated to serving children in our community.

At last night's board meeting we voted in our newest member, Lowell! Lowell works at a local State Farm office and we are excited for him to join our organization and continue the huge influx we have had of new members!

CLF Network can't collect 2,000 coats without your help! Donate to one of our collection barrels throughout Lane County, and our volunteers will deliver those coats to our partners at The Cleanery at Valley River, who generously dry-clean everything so it's ready to go for kids in need this winter season! Thank you so much to our friends at The Cleanery for their help on this project every year. Together, we can keep kids warm. 💜

🧥 COATS NEEDED! 🧥

CLF Network’s first coat sort of 2026 is complete, but we have so much more to do!

Gather your never-worn or gently-used, weatherproof, and insulated coats to donate to any of our participating locations. CLF Network volunteers collect your donations, deliver them to our amazing dry-cleaning partners The Cleanery and Hi-Tech Cleaners, and then sort them by size and agency needs. With only a week left in our collection period, we're aiming to deliver 2,000 coats to kids in need before winter arrives! Help us reach our goal by donating your old coats or purchasing brand new ones!

Last weekend, CLF Network gathered 9 teams of young professionals together to race across town and raise money for kids in the community! For four hours, teams danced in crosswalks (safely), completed a decade-old ice bucket challenge, took photos with all the ducks, recorded heartfelt messages about what family and home meant to them, and so much more. Each challenge was worth between 100 and 500 points depending on level of difficulty and time commitment, and it was a close race to the top of the leaderboard!

We started the scavenger hunt at Alton Baker Park and ended with a celebration with our friends at Claim 52 Brewing. Thank you for hosting us and providing discounted food and drinks!

Thank you also to our mascot sponsor, Fall Creek, for supporting our first-ever scavenger hunt fundraiser. A blueberry makes a fantastic mascot, and your team had a blast!

Quest for a Cause wouldn't have been possible without the teams who gathered on a Saturday afternoon with the same goal in mind: to support children's charities in Lane County. We can't wait to see you join us again next year to show the newcomers how it's done.

CLF Network closed out a busy September with a social at one of our favorite places Peek A Boo Delight! We did a work and study session for anything our members and guests wanted to bring and work on. We were there for about 2 hours and joined throughout the event by about 25 of our members and guests! If you haven't tried Peek A Boo Delight stop by today and check out one of the gem's of our community!

As busy as September was, we take it to another level in October! We will have over 20 attendance opportunities in October. Be sure to check out our lunch meeting next week Lunch Meeting with Mindy Bell of School Garden Project! and join us for Duck Pen Bike Valet & Tailgate with CLF Network! a week from Saturday. We are also volunteering at carnivals, galas, zombie races and more put on by:

We are excited to welcome our two newest members Kaylee and Lucas to CLF Network! Kaylee is a personal trainer in the Eugene area and Lucas joins from Cross Country Mortgage! We are looking forward to everything these two will bring to growing CLF Network!
With Kaylee and Lucas joining us this puts us at a record 8 new members just this month, 11 new members for our first 3 months of the term and now 26 new members in 2026!

The CLF Network 2026 Coats for Kids campaign has officially kicked off! Our project chairs are feeling extra confident because of all the amazing barrel locations we have this year and they have set a lofty goal of collecting 2000 coats this holiday season!! We cannot reach this goal without your help. Please take a look at the barrel locations below and bring new or gently used winter coats and drop them off in the barrels with one of our amazing partners. Wow, what a spectacular day at Springfield's The Block Party! 🎉

Some quick highlights:
🩵 Over 15 members were at various booths for the Block Party throughout the day, supporting our amazing community
💚 We had a nonstop line the entire party (aside from a quick downpour, but a little rain never stops us!)

NEW MILESTONE UNLOCKED! 🏆💯
We have exceeded 100 members in CLF Network!

We have some massive news to share! At last night’s board meeting, the CLF Network officially tied our all-time record by voting in 6 incredible new members in a single night!This push officially launches us past a major historic milestone of 100 members. Our club is now 102 members strong! 📈✨ A massive, warm welcome to our newest members: Ayla, David, Delancey, Eli, Emily, and Zach! You join an amazing wave of momentum—bringing us to 24 new members added in just the first 8 months of this year alone.

Looking back, we are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. In 2021, we were navigating the challenges of Covid with around 38 members. To nearly triple our community since then and cross the 100-member mark is a testament to the incredible value, connection, and energy of this network. Thank you to every single member who makes CLF Network what it is today. We are just getting started with plenty more of goals and milestones ahead!

We are also very lucky to welcome 6 new members with so much energy, enthusiasm and skill to bring to our organization. We ask all of our new members why they want to join and the answers we hear the most are to get to know more people, build their community, make new friends and be able to volunteer and give back. If any of those answers are how you are feeling, now is a great time to reach out and come to a social or volunteer with our members and guests.

Starting next week we will be launching our Coats for Kids drive with the goal of collecting 2000 warm winter coats for kids in our community. We also have Duck Pen Oregon vs Portland St in just over a week and recently announced our Silly Goose Craft Night with Dilly Dally DIY! which is put on by one of our brand new members! These along with 2-3 more events every week!
