Here is the info for anyone going to the Ems game tomorrow night. When it's time for the players to line up pre-game to go on the field we will have a few of our coaches their to coordinate, and keep our entire group together.

Day of Overview

*Arrive-4:45pm to 5pm check in, players and coaches

*Q&A-5:10pm to 5:20pm in section 1 and 2

*Line up behind center field fence (area line up order listed below): 5:25pm to 5:35pm

*Taking field on the O in the middle of the outfield: 5:35-5:40pm

*Sky Photo: 540pm - 550pm

*Exit to Seating through 3rd base gate: 5:50pm

Submissions for Design a Jersey: template and coloring tools will be available from the Team Store and where submissions will be turned in. Winner will be selected and contacted after the game, offered the opportunity to deliver first pitch at closing ceremonies and given one of the jerseys they designed.

50/50 Raffle: players will be selling tickets for the raffle during the game. A table will be set up on the concourse staffed by WVBR volunteers to oversee this process, along with funds to process cash transactions. Drawing will be held during the 7th inning stretch and winner announced at the end of the 7th inning/start of the 8th.

First Game Hat GiveAway to first 1000: as an organization getting early entrance we are not eligible for the giveaway. With that in mind, as the players are exiting the field, they will be given an Emeralds branded ball giveaway. For any parents interested in receiving the giveaway item, they are more than welcome to exit after the Q&A and re-enter through the Homeplate gate to wait in line.

Raffle ticket reminder: ticket stubs need to be turned in by the end of the week. This isn't required, but you did pay for them so at the very least fill them out for a chance at one of the prizes.

Opening Ceremonies Date: Friday, April 3rdth
Event: Celebrate WVBR season with us at EM’s opening day game.
· Q and A with team before the game
· Parade of teams on the field
· SKY PHOTO! Picture to be taken via drone of the event
· 50/50 Raffle, winner drawn at the game.
· Design a Jersey Contest submission deadline.

· Players will be able to create a jersey design for the EM’s team

· Design selected will be worn by the EM’s at our closing ceremonies game!

During our opening ceremonies the Ems are hosting a Create Your Own Jersey contest! A panel will pick their favorite design and the team will actually wear the winning jersey on our Closing Ceremonies day! ⚾️🙌

Designs must be turned in at the game during Opening Ceremonies to be considered! Make sure your name and phone number are on your design!🎨✨

Sheldon High School Baseball hosts an auction every other year, and this special event plays a vital role in supporting our program for the next two seasons.

It’s always a fun and memorable evening! The varsity team is introduced, coaches mingle with families and supporters, and we celebrate our players and the entire program. This year features some fantastic auction items, including rafting trips, one-of-a-kind custom pieces, memorabilia, and more. We’ll also have exclusive Sheldon hats available for purchase—only at the auction.

This auction supports many essential aspects of the program that go beyond what school budgets typically cover. Funds help maintain and improve the field and facilities, including infield dirt and mound clay, grass care, fencing, dugouts, batting cages, and the upkeep of hitting facilities and surrounding areas. Donations also provide necessary equipment such as baseballs, bats, catcher’s gear, helmets, pitching machines, protective screens, and training tools to ensure players have safe, high-quality resources for practices and games. Ultimately, fundraising ensures the program can provide a safe, competitive, and enriching experience for all student-athletes.
