Inspired by the need for a community gathering space, the Whiteaker Community Market will act as an adhesive force which will bring together the diverse talents of our neighborhood. In an effort to support the Whiteaker Community Council to purchase the lot for future community space, it only makes sense to utilize the skills of the Whiteaker's very own small-scale entrepreneurs. We believe that a

market founded by artists and local, organic food systems will create a sense of place and allow the spirit of the Whiteaker to thrive! What is Produce Pals you ask??

It’s a program for youth up to 16 years old to receive $5 per market to spend on fresh produce like fruits and veggies! This program was formerly called Little lettuce and essentially the same, except the age range reaches more youth! So stop by the Info Booth so your kids can get a Produce Pals token and buy their own produce or edible plant starts to grow their own! 🌿🍓

HOW IT WORKS:

🥬 Produce Pals Kids Market - $5 tokens for children 16 years old & younger to buy fresh fruit, veggies, edible plant starts, mushrooms, and legumes from farmers at the Whiteaker Community Sunday Market.

ℹ️ No income requirement. One token per child. Tokens must be used the same day.

➡️ Check-in at the Info Booth at the Market on Sundays to get Produce Pals tokens for your kiddos!

Sunday May 17th we kick off our Art in the Park series to celebrate the wonderful community we call home and have some fun! 🧡

🍓 WHAT: Farm & Artist Market with 45+ vendors! Check out our website to view our full lineup and interactive booth map!

All Day: Shopping, atmosphere, and community

✨All kids get a $5 token called Produce Pals(formerly Little Lettuce) to spend on fresh produce. The age limit has been raised to 16 years and under!

✨Those SAME KIDS with receive and EXTRA $5 in WCM Market Bucks and those can be spent at ANY VENDOR AT OUR MARKET!!!

✨FREE Face Painting!

✨We’ll also have a roaming balloon artist and a Cotton Candy vendor! Yum!

✨12PM - 2PM: Live music with

This is our 11th year of existing and 7th year at our current location. 🦋 And we love our community, and the way folks in the Whiteaker show up for each other. We love creating a family centered community that thrives by offering love and support to all.
