March 21-22 ham radio class covering the Technician license (and beyond). Yes, it's really free, and yes, it's serious education for those who want to develop a good grasp of not just the exam question pool but the theory that makes it all work.

Congrats to the people who either passed or upgraded their licenses at our exam session in December!

Five people tested:
- 3 Oregon State University students from OSU's robotics program passed their Technician Exams
- 1 University of Oregon student and member of the N7DUX ham radio club upgraded to their General, and
- 1 person passed the tech exam and received credit for a long-lapsed General license.

Thank you to the 5 Volunteer Examiners who helped grade the tests.

Our next exam session is Friday, January 16 at 7 p.m. at Norkenzie Christian Church, 2530 Crescent Ave., Eugene, OR 97408.
