While I am SO grateful for all the fans of Vision Video who supported and listened to the music in our final year, we need to take a minute to remember that Spotify is just as much a cartoonishly evil corporation as most any.

The extremely low payouts to artists, the acquiescence to AI and most insanely the corporate support of the military industrial complex are just signposts to how dogshí t this company really is. They have also become a near monopoly, forcing professional artists to use the platform and it's really despicable.

Here's to holding them accountable and demanding change.

Also, RIP Vision Video.

Loss of high use wetlands is an obvious answer but so you know, the endangered Fenders Blue Butterfly has habitat in our Eugene wetlands and theres more info at Eugene's own city page https://www.eugene-or.gov/644/Wetlands. You can also view the previous comments, which is very educational about all the environmental reasons that destroying more wetlands to make billionaires richer is unacceptable. https://lands.dsl.state.or.us/index.cfm?fuseaction=Comments.AppDetailLF&id=65339
