NCE featured in a blog post on RedGreenandBlue.org!

As coal plants in the United States continue to close, local organizations around the country appear to have struck a blow to the industry. Hey all,

Sorry for the short notice, but we are going to have a flash mob/rally/action tomorrow and we'd LOVE to see you there!

Meet us at The Lorax (1648 Alder St.) at 10:30 a.m. From there we will grab our banners and coal train costumes, then take the EmX to Bank of America on 11th and Pearl and rally/protest from 11-1, during peak lunch traffic hours.

This action, along with dozens across the country, is in solidarity with tomorrow's protest at the Bank of America shareholders' meeting in Charlotte, NC. Bank of America is the largest funder of the coal industry, investing more than $4.3 billion into coal projects over the last two years.

Stand with others around the country - join us tomorrow at 10:30 am at the Lorax for our BofA action!

I’ve been organizing campaigns and non-violent direct actions for a long time. Over ten years now. Most of the time, I hear stories about the screwed up things our government and corporations do and I take it in stride. Every once in a while, something pops and it gets under my skin. A lot.
