Big news, Eugene: Phase 1 of Finish the Ride is funded and construction is underway!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we're breaking ground on 7 Mountain Bike Trails and 1 Signature Trail Hub at Suzanne Arlie Mountain Bike Park.

This is a major milestone, and we couldn't have done it without you. But the ride isn't over yet.

To complete the full vision of Suzanne Arlie Mountain Bike Park, we still need funding for:
- 2 more Advanced Trails
- 2 more Signature Trail Hubs

Help us cross the finish line and give Eugene the MTB trail system it deserves. Every dollar gets us closer. https://www.eugeneparksfoundation.org/finish-the-ride/

Finish the Ride, led by Eugene Parks Foundation, funds 4 advanced trails and 3 hubs that will elevate our local park into a mountain biking destination.

What an amazing night!

From Susan Seubert’s stunning photography exhibition to M. Jackson’s powerful stories of her journeys across the world’s glaciers, last night’s sold-out Polar Encounter Parks Talk truly delivered.

Both brought inspiration, perspective, and a deep connection to the landscapes that shape our planet—and they absolutely rocked the house.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. We’re grateful to share these moments with such an engaged and passionate community.

Stay tuned for our next Parks Talk—we can’t wait to see you there. 🌿

Take 18 minutes to be inspired by Ben Helphand’s powerful presentation at our last Parks Talk on NeighborSpace in Chicago, transforming the city through nature play spaces, community gardens, and places where people and nature reconnect.

The momentum behind our Finish The Ride campaign keeps growing, and we’re excited to share that Slocum Orthopedics has committed $25,000 to help bring the Suzanne Arlie Mountain Bike Park to life.

Daniel Sheerin, M.D., Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine: “ Slocum is proud to support the trails at Suzanne Arlie Park. Encouraging healthy activity is at the heart of what we do, and this project creates a unique opportunity for people to access amazing trails that you can ride to directly from Eugene. We’re excited to help make that vision a reality and invite our friends, colleagues, and the broader community to join us in supporting Eugene’s new Mountain Bike Park so it can open and be accessible to riders this year.”

The momentum keeps building!

After celebrating Tacovore’s incredible leadership, we’re thrilled to share that SnoTemp Cold Storage is stepping up with a $25,000 gift to support the Suzanne Arlie Mountain Bike Park!

Caroline Lafferty, CFO, SnoTemp - “Our family has deep roots in Eugene, and we chose to raise our kids here because of the incredible outdoor lifestyle this community offers.

Supporting Suzanne Arlie’s Mountain Bike Park felt like a natural way to help create more opportunities for families to get outside, stay active, and enjoy this place we’re proud to call home.”

With each new partner, the vision is becoming reality: advanced trails, signature hubs, and a place for riders of all ages to connect with the outdoors.

Fund it by the end of March, Ride it by Year's end!
