Restored Connections Peer Center is excited to announce that our Executive Director, Stephanie Cameron, will be presenting at the GOBHI Peer Workforce Conference in Pendleton, Oregon this year.
The need to build strong peer leadership has never been greater. This workshop will focus on developing peer leaders from the very first stages of onboarding and continue supporting that growth throughout employment, professional development, and advancement opportunities.
Peer professionals bring incredible strengths, lived experience, resilience, and transferable skills into the workforce. When those are recognized and nurtured through a strength-based employment model, the possibilities are endless.
At Restored Connections, we believe leadership development begins on day one. By identifying individual strengths, passions, and career goals early, organizations can create meaningful pathways that support growth from entry-level positions to leadership roles. Investing in people, providing opportunities, and fostering supportive workplace cultures helps build not only stronger employees, but stronger peer programs and stronger communities.
We are honored to share the strategies and lessons learned from over a decade of developing peer leaders and building sustainable workforce pathways throughout the WillametteValley. We look forward to connecting with colleagues from across the state and continuing the conversation about the future of peer-delivered services.

Yesterday at Ko-Kwel Wellness Center, we hosted an overdose reversal training that brought our community together in a powerful way.

We trained over 30 individuals on how to recognize the signs of an active overdose and how to properly administer life-saving medication to reverse it.

This is what community care looks likeβ€”equipping people with the knowledge and tools to respond quickly and save lives when it matters most. Every person trained is another potential life saved.
Our plan is to continue growing these efforts and reach even more people throughout the community.

Please stay tuned for more information about our June Overdose Reversal Pop-Up eventβ€”we hope to see you there!

Special Thanks to Sarah A. Koski for taking these photos and ongoing support & to Brothers Sober Living.
