Hello Chintimini Scout Leaders

A final reminder that there will be Scout Leader Training next Saturday, April 1 at Troop 3 cabin from 8 am to ~2 pm.

Schedule: Troop Committee and Merit Badge Training - 8 am to ~12 pm
Scoutmaster/Assistant SM Training (plus you get committee and Merit badge) - 8 am to ~2 pm (Most modules overlap, SM training takes 4 additonal modules)

If you just need the Committee part you can come for the morning. But, I encourage you to stay and get it all done. This training does not expire, so once you have taken it, you are done.

Registration is online at the the OTC web site. Don’t worry if registration is closed, JUST SHOW UP. (send me email but don’t worry if you just wake up Saturday morning and decide I want training - come on down!)

Bring a sack lunch if you are staying for the whole program.

Forward this onto anyone I may have missed and especially to those new Webelos parents that are just joining your Troop.

New Council requirement: Direct contact leaders need to be fully trained in order to register at recharter in November. That’s Scoutmasters and Asst. SM. You need this classroom training plus Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
