No animal that comes through SSAL waits for care while we try to raise the money first. ❤️
That’s because of our amazing team, fosters, volunteers, board members, and most importantly Dr. Capps, who continues to stand behind us even when our bill climbs fast.
We do everything we can in-house, but some things still require veterinary care — dentals, fast-kill heartworm treatment, severe URI cases, surgeries, IV antibiotics, flea/tick prevention, rabies vaccines, and emergency care. Earlier this year Doc treated several extremely sick URI kitties, including one SNUG kitty who required hospitalization, IV antibiotics, and eventually eye surgery. She’s finally recovering and will soon be ready for adoption. ❤️
