Enrichment time is HERE at Eudora Middle School! 🎉

We are so excited to unveil the 2026–27 EMS Enrichment Programs...and just LOOK at all of these opportunities for our middle school students! 👀

From cooking, hiking, golf and guitar to chess, rockets, Minecraft, local history, leadership, mentoring, crafting and SO much more, there is truly something for everyone.

These programs are made possible by Eudora Schools Foundation supporters and an incredible group of Eudora Schools staff members who give their time, talent and creativity to create hands-on experiences for students beyond the school day. ❤️

Students: Check out the flyers and start thinking about what you want to try! More information about meeting dates, times, locations and sign-ups will be coming soon.

🍪🍦🧁 A SWEET shoutout to some pretty amazing community partners!

All year long, our Sweet Treat Partners have been creating special treats for ESF and then they showed up to help us celebrate our 20th birthday, too! ❤️💙

They hauled in the goodies, set up and served our crowd through a hot, busy and wonderfully crazy evening. And because apparently that wasn't enough, each has donated, or will donate, a portion of the proceeds from their Sweet Treat right back to the Eudora Schools Foundation!

We’re still smiling. ❤️💙

What a way to celebrate 20 YEARS of the Eudora Schools Foundation!

Saturday night was everything we hoped it would be...kids running from face painting to animals to basketball, families filling the winery, friends catching up, former and current staff celebrating together, plenty of laughter, and a whole lot of Cardinal Pride.

But our favorite part? You showed up.

For 20 years, the Eudora Schools Foundation has existed because this community believes in our schools, our educators and, most importantly, our kids. Seeing so many of the people who have been part of that story gathered together to celebrate was pretty darn special.

These are just a few of our favorite photos from the night. And trust us, there are MANY more.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us, volunteered, sponsored, donated, brought their talents, entertained our kids, shared a memory, added a wish for our next 20 years, or simply came out to be part of the fun.

And thank you to Z&M Twisted Vineyard - Lawrence for giving us the perfect place to throw one heck of a birthday party.

Twenty years down.

And judging by all those wishes on our wall, we've got some big things ahead. ❤️💙

We had an incredible time celebrating with you tonight, Eudora! What an incredible evening. ❤️

And if you missed it, below is a tribute to our beloved Shanda Hurla for her 11 years of incredible leadership. We are sharing her impact, straight from the mouths of colleagues, community members, and friends.

Thanks to the Eudora Lions Club for being with us tonight!

Lions Kathy and Trisha are screening kids at the Eudora Schools Foundation back to school event tonight!

The screener provides a quick recommendation on if the kids vision is good or not. The scan takes less than 10 seconds to complete!

If the scan finds an issue the report is provided to the parents and the recommendation is made to get the child to an eye doctor for a comprehensive eye exam!

🏊 Donate & Swim TONIGHT! Instead of paying the $4 daily pool admission, donate glue sticks, Expo markers, washable markers, or colored pencils to support Eudora students. Pool pass holders receive a concession coupon with a donation! ❤️📚

We're excited to partner with Eudora KS Parks and Recreation Department for a fun way to support local students!

On Thursday, August 7:
🏖️ Instead of paying the $4 daily admission, simply donate ONE of the following:

Glue sticks
Expo markers
Washable markers
Colored pencils

These supplies will help stock the Eudora Schools Foundation's Back-to-School Supply Event for local students.

Already have a pool pass? Bring a qualifying school supply and receive a concession stand coupon instead!
