Eudora ACES - no longer active

The last of the donations finally made it to Eudora Elementary School. Due to COVID the remaining items could not be delivered until the schools opened back up again. Thank you again to the community for supporting our schools.

As we move into the final stages of dissolving ACES, we can now share with you where our funds are going.

As a registered 501c3 it is required by law that we dissolve our funds to another registered 501c3. This was an easy choice for us.

Eudora Schools Foundation was the first and only organization that came to mind for Stacey and I.

The reason we started the Autism Awareness Walk 10 years ago was to purchase much needed items for our Special Education classrooms. This is something ESF now does for the district so we know the money will be put to good use, and stay in our schools. I have also spoken to the foundation about the money from our Walk being earmarked for special ed.

Ending is a bitter sweet feeling but knowing a small part is continuing to the schools helps our hearts 💙🧩💙

Due to the COVID-19 situation, Happy Shirts will be temporarily closing their doors today.
