Tru West Visions of Hope had their very first fundraiser of the year with the Cleveland Charge Basketball Team.
This was their first fundraiser of this year 2026, and it was a success. Volunteers showed up with a lot of energy to sell 50/50 raffle tickets. We had a lot of fun and look forward to next year.

Sheri West, Black History Makers Honoree

Ms. Sheri West , Founder & Executive Director of Tru West Visions of Hope, was one of the honorees at the Black History Makers Celebration that was held on Feb. 28, 2026 at the East Cleveland Public Library Auditorium.

Ms. West was recognized for her leadership, service and impact within our community as a 2026 award recipient by Love in Action Ohio.

She would like to thank everyone who supported and believed in her mission of meeting the needs of the underserved population, the donors and sponsors who donated and contributed to our Housing Stability Support Program, her board members who were there with her from the beginning and especially thanked Love in Action Ohio for seeing the value in the work that she does to strengthen our community.
