Hey everyone! Today was our very first harvest of the growing season! We harvested spinach, radishes, and lettuce that will go to New Hope Ministries tomorrow. We also planted more tomato plants where there was space and pulled weeds around the area.

Hi all! We checked on the garden today, and this is the progress we have made. The spinach and potatoes have started growing. The spinach can be harvested for the first time starting next week. Good news: No deer or pests have gotten into the vegetables so far, so the raised beds and fencing have been a huge help.

Hi all! On April 18th, we had our third volunteering event at the garden! We planted radishes, potatoes, and herbs. With the help of high school volunteers, we set up an extra part of the garden and zip-tied the fencing together to the bamboo so it would stay up and be more durable.

Hi all! On April 4th, we had our very first volunteering event at the garden! We built 6 raised garden beds and filled them with soil! With the help of high school volunteers, we also leveled out the garden and pulled any weeds that were in it.

Hi everyone! Here is a video of the garden when it was first starting to what we have accomplished so far. The garden has come a long way, and so far no pests or animals have invaded it! The vegetables are growing nicely, and we hope to start harvesting them soon.

Welcome to Victory Garden! The Garden was first established in 2024 by a group of local gardeners to help provide fresh produce to the local food pantry. We offer volunteer opportunities especially to high schoolers in the West Shore School District who need Volunteer hours. Our season goes from early April to Mid-November.
