This Friday at 10 am at the Depot, they are looking for volunteers to help put up the flags for Memorial day. A great way to help honor our veterans and earn service hours.

Last week, I did a count and had 5 youth and 2 adults. For freezoree I've only had 1 response to the email I sent out. Please send me a email or text if you are going so that I can get registration done.The new registration software that the council is using for events, requires me to register by individual. I didn't note who was going. Can you please send me back a note if you were wanting to go so that I can complete the registration. As a reminder, cost is $25 for the youth (15 for the camporee and 10 for their menu) and $15 for the adults plus their menu.

This Saturday is the annual HamFest at the regional park in Athens. Gates open at 6am. Admission is $5 for adults (no price for children is listed, nor is the ages for child or adult). Would be a good opportunity for those working on the Communications Merit Badge.
