A couple weeks ago, Mario did a reading for one of my previous professors. She was going through some large life transitions and for her, the reading was incredibly helpful and profound.

When we are faced with divorce after 25 years of marriage, destruction of our homes and neighborhoods, large career shifts and leaps, and just about anything really, astrology can give us a sense of what’s coming up and how everything is already in perfect order - even if it is really hard.

My professor wrote me later about how profound it was for her - she said she cried a lot, was extremely grateful and has so far sent 4 more people to Mario for readings. In the last week, I’ve given 2 Human Design Readings and I just can’t tell you how much fun and illuminating they are!

Sometimes I know the person I’m working with and sometimes I don’t. Either way, it’s such a pleasure to have someone not know exactly what they are about to receive and watch them get sucked into the reading as they hear so much spot-on detail about themselves.

A wonderful gift of Human Design is that we get to put words to qualities and patterns that are running within us unconsciously already. We may have a sense of a certain tendency about ourselves, but to hear it out loud = a game changer! Once we have words for these tendencies and qualities, we have the ability to make conscious choices where we didn’t before. It gives us more options and control in our lives.

Another gift of Human Design comes if we are struggling with big decisions in life. HD can help us know how to make the best decision for ourselves. It' doesn’t tell us what to do, but it does tell us how to sort it and shows us where our natural talents and qualities lie.

At Soul Center, we use these to ease the minds of parents about their children’s natural talents and abilities and ways of being. Parents always recognize the qualities the charts mention. Sometimes we are designed very differently than our kids so we may not understand their ways of being and we may worry about them. The charts put us at ease and validate and give language to things we notice and feel. They are also often great at showing where natural and easy paths forward may be. Of course, we don’t tell them what to do. We simply ask how it feels or if it sounds correct for them. There is so much power in a good question!
