The Siskiyou RCD would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season. There have been many changes at the RCD over the last year. Tamara Braden is now our full time book keeper. Chris Voight is now our district manager. Evan Senf continues working on his w**d grants and any other technology things he can help with as well as field work. Lindsey Cummings continues helping out anywhere he can. Emma Morris has stepped up to help with field work during our busy time. Leah VanDewater continues with her amazing technical writing and we welcome new field tech Tully Doyle to our staff. We are hoping to partner with droneseed/silvaseed/Cal Forest on a CalFire Forest Health grant. We continue to pursue grants that promote healthy waters and protect endangered species in our beautiful Scott Valley.

This should have been posted awhile back, but after careful consideration Connie King O'Henley felt she was unable to accept the district manager position at Siskiyou RCD. Our bookkeeper Tamara Braden agreed to step up and accept the District Manager position as well as continuing as our bookkeeper. She has stepped into this position and all its challenges with a smiling face. She has the drive to learn all she can and support the RCD in this new position. We appreciate her willingness to take this on.
