some days, i can't feel God at all.

it feels like i'm going through the motions, cold and empty. but i will never stop showing up for Him. even when it feels shallow to open my Bible just to keep the habit. that's what matters most. that's the game changer.

because anybody can chase God when life is good. when prayers are getting answered, when the blessings are coming in, when you feel His presence and everything makes sense. that's easy.

i want to talk about those lifeless days. the morning you wake up and feel nothing. no fire, no motivation, no sense that any of this is working. and you open your Bible anyway. not because you feel like it, but because you decided you weren't going to stop.

that decision is where real faith lives. not in the highs, but in the ordinary, quiet, unremarkable act of showing up when everything in you says don't bother.

change doesn't come from one big moment. it comes from doing the same small thing over and over again, even when it feels like nothing is happening. something is always happening. feelings come and go. the Word stays.

James 1:4 says, "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
let patience have her perfect work. the work God does in the quiet, cold, empty seasons is the work that holds.
don't stop showing up just because you can't feel it. He can.
