Prairie Lakes Delta Waterfowl Chapter Our goal is to promote waterfowl hunting in our community as well as habitat conservation. A world with new challenges and new opportunities.

Today’s Delta embraces new approaches to habitat conservation and a focus on duck production. Delta has proclaimed a declarative position asserting our commitment to stand up for and by waterfowlers everywhere. This is a new Delta, an evolving Delta, that recognizes the world we live in is different than it was a mere decade ago. Joel Brice - Vice President of Conservation

As waterfowlers continue to decline, the habitat base on the breeding grounds shrinks, and other challenges emerge, the world needs a new Delta, steeped in history, rooted in its historical values, to adapt. A Delta that can be the voice for duck hunters, an advocate for the duck, a guardian of habitat. A Delta with the accumulated wisdom and learning of a century of experience but with a contemporary view on how to accomplish what is needed for ducks and duck hunters. Delta is an organization poised to grow to meet this challenge. An organization with legions of waterfowl hunters at the ready to secure the future of ducks and duck hunting.

The other week we had our yearly regional meeting with chapters from all across Iowa. We were honored with a couple of national awards as well as being the #1 net income chapter in the state of Iowa. We couldn't have done it without the support of all of you, our great supporters, as well as our dedicated sponsors. We can't thank you enough for another great year

All we can say is WOW! Year after year we get surprised with how many people come out and support us and our mission. For the 3rd year in a row we have broken records set the previous year. We couldn't do this without the help of all of our sponsors as well as everyone that came out last night. We hope everyone had a great time last night. Thank you to Oak Hill Outdoor - 2188 for hosting us and thank you to Birdies, Burgers, and Brews for catering that awesome meal.
