Thank you to the National Park Foundation for awarding a grant to Rocky Mountain Conservancy to create more housing opportunities for Rocky Mountain National Park staff.

The 2026 Conservation Corps season has wrapped up at Rocky Mountain Conservancy. 🏔️

After our 54-member corps completed 11 weeks of conservation work across Rocky Mountain National Park and U.S. Forest Service land...the stats are finally in!

🪏 135 miles of trails maintained
🪾 842 fallen trees removed
🏞️ 111 acres treated for invasive species
🪨 2555 feet of rock construction
🌱 588 native species planted

Celebrate National Public Lands Day by volunteering to reseed and restore plant communities in Rocky Mountain National Park!

Work alongside the vegetation crew to reseed small fire scars that were created during pile burning.

📍Estes Park, CO
🗓️ Sept 25 and 28
⌚ 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Volunteers will meet outside the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at 9:00 am and be driven into the park.

Expect a full day of work in exposed conditions with hiking short distances up to several miles.

Celebrate National Public Lands Day by helping construct foot bridges over Bowen Creek on the Continental Divide Trail on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park!

Assist park staff with bridge construction by helping move timber, peel bark from logs, dig footing for the sills, and move and secure each section of the bridge into place.

📍Estes Park, CO
🗓️ Sat, Sept 26
⌚ 8:30 am-3:00 pm

Volunteers will meet in front of the Kawuneeche Visitor Center at 8:30 am and drive together into the park.

Expect a full day of manual labor including digging, peeling logs, carrying heavy materials on uneven ground, and operating hand tools.

This visitor-focused access guide will provide much-needed information on the accessibility of trails, facilities, and historic structures throughout the park.

The guide is available in various formats to meet the needs of visitors.

Rocky Mountain Conservancy and the National Park Service are committed to ensuring that all people have equal opportunity to benefit from Rocky's facilities, programs, services, and activities.

Invasive plants are a constant threat in Rocky. They crowd out native species and disrupt wildlife food sources—that's why we need your help to protect Rocky's native ecosystems!

This volunteer event is a full day of physically demanding work outdoors on uneven terrain.

Thank you to AllTrails for awarding Rocky Mountain Conservancy the AllTrails Steward Fund in support of our Conservation Corps Canyon Lakes Crew's work in the Rawah Wilderness this summer!

With your help, our Canyon Lakes crew worked alongside the U.S. Forest Service to restore the popular McIntyre and West Branch Trails in the Rawah Wilderness, which were severely damaged by the 2020 Cameron Peak Fire and 2021 floods.

Thank you for helping Rocky Mountain Conservancy continue to improve the public access and longevity of these trails!
