Today we had church on the basketball court with the community. 💛🙏🏻

The kids led worship. Alex Kabagambe gave his testimony. The village chairman spoke. Pastor Ronald gave a message. And the community took home some bread made by our KCF bakery. 🙌🏻

We are on day 2/4 of our visit to Kabagambe Childcare Foundation in Uganda. Our primary goal this year was to take a representative from Kingdom Overflow Ministries (Zane Bullock) to teach the older boys and a few local men how to make simple furniture. In just a few weeks, we’ll be traveling to Uganda to spend time with our friends at Kabagambe Childcare Foundation! 🇺🇬🌻

This year, our mission is all about building skills and creating opportunities. We’ll be training the kids and adults at KCF in woodworking and teaching them how to build school desks like these—with the hope that they can continue making and selling desks to local schools long after our team returns home.

We’re grateful to be partnering with Kingdom Overflow Ministries for this project. Today, their team built our first prototype right here in North Carolina! 🪚🔨

Seeing the desk go from an idea on paper to something we can actually build makes us even more excited for what’s ahead.

Three weeks to Uganda. One new skill. And, we pray, an opportunity that will continue to grow for years to come. 💛
