The Grange, officially known as the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, is a fraternal organization with a rich history and a highly visible community presence. Springwater Grange was organized in 1893 and has been an active part of the Springwater community ever since. It has its roots in agriculture and its heart in community service. We’d love to tell you about the exciting opportunities the Grange
offers. Stop by our monthly breakfast, a potluck or community event anytime. We are a friendly group ready to assist the community and are active in Clackamas County Pomona Grange where all the Granges in the county come together. We represent our Grange at local and state functions and are ready for any new adventure. Come join our Grange and make a difference in the Springwater community and the state of Oregon. Since 1867, the Grange has been a grassroots, non-partisan advocate for agriculture, rural issues, and American values. The Grange is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in more than 2,100 hometowns across America. We have nearly 150 years of history, a spirit of grassroots advocacy, and a fraternal spirit that we’re happy to share with you. The Grange was one of the first major national organizations to seek membership and involvement of everyone in the family and was the first to give equal voice and vote to women. All Grange members have an equal voice and an equal vote at meetings regardless of their age, s*x or position within the organization. Our grange follows this pattern which includes men and women in all areas. Children at the age of 14 are encouraged to become members and hold a position ages 5-14. Functions and activities include all ages. Come join us, call about membership or find out more information at the Oregon State Grange website www.orgrange.org
