2 words: Supply. Chain.
We’ve all had to deal with the struggle – our favorite food not being in stock, being limited to item limits. It seems like there isn’t a single thing that the pandemic hasn’t affected. But while some may go without a favorite treat, many are going without the basic foods they could afford on tight budgets. The simple fact is, most meat costs 15% more than it did 18 months ago, and it isn’t always on the shelf when folks go to pick it up. Produce, dairy, and bread is just about the same. The strain is increased, and so is the need for non-profits like ours and the need for people like YOU to find out how you can help our mission to serve Estacada. Your volunteer support, generosity, and neighborly kindness could mean the difference between an empty and a full plate somewhere in Estacada.
