✨ Big Adoption Update ✨

We are so excited to share that we’ve officially finished all of our required documentation! ✅ This means we are now moving into the waiting phase of our adoption journey.

This week, once we are assigned our consulting person, we will be considered “live” — and from there, we’ll begin receiving cases of children. We’ll then have the chance to say yes or no depending on state and other factors.

It feels surreal to finally be at this step after all the hard work, paperwork, and preparation. Now comes the part where we wait with open hearts for the little one meant to join our family. 💕

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and prayed for us along the way — your love means so much. Please keep us in your thoughts as we enter this next exciting chapter!

Adoption Update! 💛✨

Yesterday, we had the first of our two home study interviews — a huge milestone in the adoption process! We also officially submitted our profile book, which will be shared with expectant moms when the time comes.

Things are really moving along, and we’re feeling hopeful and excited. With each step, we’re getting closer to finishing all of our documents and being ready and waiting to be matched.

Exciting Update!
Yesterday, we officially turned in all the paperwork we’ve been working on for the past 27 days! This huge milestone is a prerequisite for our home study, which means our 3-month countdown has officially begun until we’re live and waiting to be matched. We’re making progress!

The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind for our little family! We’ve been busy collecting paperwork and checking off all the necessary steps to get our home study underway. We’re excited to share that we passed our home sanitation inspection, and this Friday is our fire inspection. If all goes well, we’re aiming to have all the required documents submitted by Monday so we can officially begin the home study process. We’re getting closer—stay tuned for more updates!

We’re taking a BIG step forward in our adoption journey today—our home inspection is happening at 11am! We’ve been working hard to prepare over the past few weeks, especially this past weekend and Monday, to make sure everything is just right.

We want to give a massive shoutout to Jake, Selena, Kyle, Nancy, Tony, Noah, Lori, Connor, and Ashley. Your help and support have meant the world to us. We truly couldn’t have gotten everything ready without you!

We chose adoption for many reasons, but the biggest one is that pregnancy complications have made growing our family naturally difficult. Another reason that means so much to us is Bentley’s excitement—he talks often about wanting a baby brother or sister, and it’s clear how ready he is to be a big sibling.

This journey hasn’t been easy. We still have about three more months of paperwork to complete, along with inspections, appointments, lab work, and fingerprinting. It’s a lot—but every step brings us closer to our dream: giving Bentley the sibling he’s wished for and completing our family in a way that feels just right.
