Knights of Columbus "St. Patrick's Council 370"

Who doesn’t like to make a child happy? Every year, the Knights of Columbus Councils in Maryland fill shoe boxes with age appropriate toys, hygiene items etc. each box must be accompanied with $9.00 to pay transportation and missionary costs. How does it work? You decide on the age group and gender. I can supply the plastic shoe boxes. Fill your box with goodies and get it to me by the end of October. See list of suggested items and let me know if you will participate.

See comment below for a project St. Patrick Council is working on. If you would like to donate, whether an item, a backpack, a filled backpack or a donation, please let me know. This is for shelter children and low income Baltimore County students. We need to turn in all donations by August 14.

Hello Friends. St. Patrick Council has 3 current activities. If you are able to help, please let me know.

1. St. Clare Food Pantry - due 5/13. Need tuna fish, canned chicken, peanut butter, jelly, baked beans, vegetarian baked beans, pasta sauce, and canned fruit.

2. Women’s Care Center - due 5/31. Diapers in all sizes.

3. Eastern Family Resource Center (shelter) - due 6/15. Twin sheet sets, bath towels and washcloths, soap, bed pillows.

Yes! Yes! Yes!! Another successful mission. Yesterday, we delivered a little over 300 pairs of flip flops to Eastern Family Resource Center. We also dropped off bath towels (thank you Tina Hoffman) and a lot of washcloths (thank you Monica Trish). We were once again asked for twin sheet sets and pillows. We were also asked to spread the word about their annual golf fundraiser. Please share the post to try to get some awareness. You guys really made a difference!

Woot, woot! More flip flops! Thank you to the following generous and thoughtful donors: Monica Trish scored an awesome deal and donated 75 pairs! Ed Hoffman purchased 2 cases (96 pairs) from Dollar Tree, Jane Dittmar added 11 pairs. We are up to 270 pairs!!! We still have almost a week to go before delivery, so it’s definitely not too late. It doesn’t matter if it is 1 pair, or multiple. God Bless You!

We received notice from the family shelter that they are in need of adult flip flops. All sizes. Cheap ones, for showering. We will get together what we can over the next couple of weeks and then drop off. If you would like to help, let us know.

Help needed. The Women's Care Center in Overlea is in need of some assistance. St. Patrick Council #370 is collecting donations for the following most-needed items:
Newborn onesies (no white)
Size Newborn Diapers
Size 7 Diapers
They are taking other infant/toddler items, but these are the most needed. We will be delivering on Thursday, February 29, so if you would like to donate, please let me know. Thanks for reading.

Needed! Twin sheet sets, twin blankets, bath towels, washcloths, bars of soap. We will be dropping these items off to a family shelter at the end of the month. Can you donate something? Anything will help. St. Patrick Council #370 appreciates your help! I always look for these items on sale or clearance and grab them knowing there is always a need.

Next project: Cookie Trays to some local first responders. The cookie trays will be delivered on Saturday, December 16th. ‼️ If you are able to bake and donate cookies, please let me know ASAP as I am planning out the trays. ‼️

Also, we are still collecting new/gently used twin sheet sets, twin blankets, bath towels/wash cloths, and soap for the Eastern Family Resource Center (shelter). We will be delivering these items in early January.

We just delivered another 450 lbs of food to St. Clare's food pantry. Between last week and this week that is 800 lbs.! Special thank you to the kind and generous folks who provided donations to this haul. Sarah Iannuzzi-Sloan, Dorothy Trish, Chelly Bloomfield, Bill Pilkerton, Joanne Krakowiak Pilkerton, Frances Legg, Monica Trish, Terry Trish Jr, Ed Hoffman, Tina Hoffman, Steve Syzmanski.

We delivered 81 coats (and still have a few) to needy families and the Eastern Family Resource Center (shelter). Here is a shout out to those who purchased or donated gently used coats. Paul Brennan, Jr., Ludka Z Rakosa, Julie Weiner, Sally L Simpson, Ed Hoffman, Jackie Hoffman, Kim Scelsi.

St. Patrick's Council is hosting a Children's Christmas Party on December 16 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Please let us know if you plan to come and the name/age/gender of your child/ren by December 1st.
