Friends, we have just received an urgent message. Our program manager in Kenya, Kenix Nyambouro, has been struck with an eye illness that is getting progressively worse and which at times has rendered him blind. Kenix is the sole breadwinner for his family including his wife Hazel, son Junior (7) and daughter Belinda (2). Our work at Kisumu Safe Water Project would not be possible without him.
Our goal is to raise $650 that will go directly to ensuring Kenix receives the medical evaluation and treatment he needs. His wife explains that proper treatment requires a CT scan and surgery.
