SLAM T1D Our mission is to support people of all ages living with T1D (Type 1 diabetes) And we're going to have a blast doing it!

SPORTS and ENTERTAINMENT are our primary platforms, but we'll use any medium to advance the fight. SLAMT1D seeks to:
- Expand awareness outside the T1D community;
- Broaden support for the fight against T1D; and
- Energize the T1D community to take bold, new initiatives to raise awareness. We're not bashful, and we make no apologies for our approach.

Three Wednesdays in a row starting June 10th, four incredible bands /soloists will battle it out each week in front of our all-star judges for a chance to move on to the FINALS on June 24th!

Two bands /soloist from each week will advance, and one ultimate winner will be crowned in what promises to be the SHOW OF THE SUMMER!! 🌟

It was great meeting up with everyone! We're excited to see the Maine P-PODs WIFFLEBall team for the first time at the SLAMT1D 15TH ANNUAL SUMMER CLASSIC at Little Fenway! Join their team, it's will be a blast!

Just wanted to share the faces of one of our biggest supporters... SLAM T1D's Jeff and Natalie Kolok. They sponsor our Stronger Than One group as well as our T1D golfers for our tournament last year!
We are incredibly grateful for the support and the faith they have in us for the work we are doing in our T1D community.
It was so nice to have a quick visit with them while they are visiting family in Maine.

Memorial Day is our national holiday to remember and honor our military personnel who have died in service to our country.

While flowers are laid in cemeteries and parades proceed down the main streets of towns and cities across our country, we also enjoy our longstanding tradition of picnics, barbecues and block parties with family, friends and neighbors. These gatherings often include games of wiffle or stick ball, bocce, badminton, dominoes and many others. Let's take some of those moments between meals and play, conversation and catch-up to honor our fallen and their families by thinking on their sacrifices made for us and our country.
