A 1-0 home win over Burlington matched with undefeated record to date has placed Champlain Valley at No. 1 in the first boys soccer power rankings of 2017.

Far Post alum Kallie Villemaire of Assumption College was chosen as the NE-10 Rookie of the Year after a strong first season with the Greyhounds.

A three-time NE-10 Rookie of the Week, Villemaire totaled 19 points on eight goals and three assists in her inaugural campaign. Eight goals ranked her third on the Greyhound squad while the freshman tied for seventh overall in the league.

Kallie was a member of last year's U18 squad that enjoyed an incredible run of U.S. Region I success under the direction of Coach Jason Russell.

2015 Far Post coaching roster includes a record number of Far Post alumni - Sam Alden (U13B, U14G), Adam Batista (U12B, U16G), Robbie Cole (U16B), Brad Cole (U15B), Staige Davis (U11B, U15B). And this is just among the Head Coaches (assistant coaches to be announced). We have a generation of home-grown coaches to continue the Far Post tradition and share their experiences as Far Post, high school and college players.
