Delanson Schenectady County George A. Gross 83, of Gross Road, Delanson, NY, passed away Tuesday, September 10th at the Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. George was born April 19, 1941 in Jamaica, NY, a son of Alois and Elizabeth Walker Gross. He graduated from Duanesburg High School and

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved member, George Gross. George dedicated 60 active years of service to the Burtonsville Fire Department, joining in 1964. Throughout his tenure, George served in many leadership roles, including Assistant Chief, Board of Director, and Captain. His commitment and contributions to the department will always be remembered.
