Did you know that the first lodge in what is now Arizona was established in the town of Prescott?

In 1864, nine Master Masons met at the home of John N. Goodwin and petitioned the Masons of California for a dispensation.

Then in January 1867 the lodge was formally constituted as Aztlan Lodge No. 177, marking the arrival of speculative Freemasonry in the Arizona territory.
