team is soliciting motivated individuals who would like to volunteer their time to join this long time running organization. The Search and Rescue function in the State of New Mexico is sanctioned through the New Mexico State Police and The New Mexico Department of Public Safety. The requirements are: at least 18 years of age, a valid driver’s license, some experience in radio communications, a fo

ur wheel drive vehicle, an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), snow mobile, or horse if possible, and some experience in mountain survival. Training in Global Positioning System (GPS), First Aid and CPR, radio communications, and map and compass reading will be provided. The New Mexico Department of Public Safety will reimburse fuel and oil expenses on any given state certified Search and Rescue mission. Garcia Sr., Chairman/Captain of the organization.
