Well there’s another wrap on a 1-day post traumatic retreat! These are retreats, a chance to work on yourself! But sometimes I’m not smart enough or skilled enough to make a difference! Today was a great experience but I think I let people down - they may have been in search of more that we provide; frankly IDK. I’m just filled with doubts tonight! That being said, I can’t compliment Alexis or Rich enough on their contributions!!! And Ann White / Vermillion Valley Equine Center on providing transportation to and from for 4 really sweet great horses! Everything is a rehearsal for something and hopefully everyone took something from the event; I know I learned a lot about being in over my head!

If your second guessing attending the retreat this coming Saturday - don’t! As my buddy says “everything is a rehearsal for something “ and this opportunity is a rehearsal for an easier path! Don’t worry about the weather; all the facilities are climate controlled and we will rotate in and out of the arena to limit our heat exposure!!! Feel free to bring a friend and spend some time at the ranch!

Mental Health Check Up! Your car doesn’t have to be broken down roadside - most of us check and change the oil regularly, replace the fluids, maybe even wash it occasionally! Humans are the same - absolutely nothing wrong with doing some maintenance now and then! You don’t have to be broken to attend a Post Traumatic Growth Retreat - there’s nothing wrong with a new perspective occasionally!

Resolute Ranch and Resiliency Co is holding a 1-day retreat, at the Eskridge facility (20356 Bradford Rd) on Saturday 18 July. The retreat, workbook, snacks, lunch and supper are all provided free of charge!

Happy Memorial Day to everyone! While it’s a day of respect and remembrance - it’s also a hallowed day to live to the fullest! We all have our beliefs, mine is that there is nobody that sacrificed their futures that wants anything but their brothers and sisters to 1) not forget but the 2) live everything to the fullest!!!!

They may not share the same bloodline, but these horses show us that family isn’t always about where you come from—it’s about the bonds you build.
