Chico started celebrating early this week and they definitely won’t be going hungry! 😋💙

A delicious spread of pulled pork, coleslaw, chips, tea and dessert was delivered to the office, with enough goodies to keep the appreciation going for a couple of days! Thank you very much to CHP wife, Ashley!👏🏽

Because sometimes saying “thank you” looks a lot like making sure everyone is well fed. 💛

💙💛CHP APPRECIATION DAY—YREKA AREA💛💙

The appreciation is continuing all week in Yreka! ⭐️

Wednesday’s delivery brought plenty of snacks, drinks and treats to keep the office fueled. Followed by breakfast burritos, brownies and muffins the next day, with even more appreciation still to come! 💙

And behind it all is another incredible CHP family. Thank you to CHP wife, Molly, and her kids as they are celebrating their 9th year participating in CHP Appreciation Day! 🥹💛

Their journey started at Oceanside, continued at Mount Shasta, and now they’re carrying the tradition with them to Yreka.

That’s one of my favorite things about this event: CHP families may move from office to office, but the tradition of supporting one another travels right along with them. 💙💛

Thank you to this wonderful family for showing up year after year, and thank you Yreka CHP for everything you do!

💙💛 CHP APPRECIATION DAY — VENTURA AREA 💛💙

Ventura got APPRECIATED! ⭐️

The office was surprised with a beautiful blue and gold spread filled with snacks, treats and lots of gratitude for the men and women who serve. 💙

But the best part came when one officer shared that in his 22 years with the CHP, he had never been thanked or appreciated like this.

That is why we do this. 💛

And a very special thank you to CHP wife, Kim, behind the celebration. She shared that after 24 years, 7 different CHP stations, promotions and countless chapters of CHP family life, she and her husband have come full circle, returning to Ventura, where he began straight out of the Academy, for what she lovingly calls his “twilight tour.” 🥹💙

These wives and families are the heart behind CHP Appreciation Day. Year after year, assignment after assignment, they continue showing up and supporting the people behind the badge.

Thank you, Ventura 765, for your service. You are seen. You are valued. And you are appreciated. 💙💛

The Needles CHP office was treated to a cooler full of goodies and plenty of snacks to keep them fueled!

A special shoutout to our amazing CHP wife, Brittaney, who is celebrating her 3rd year volunteering for CHP Appreciation Day! 💛 It’s wives and families like her who help make these celebrations possible year after year.

There’s something extra special about showing appreciation with a home cooked meal! 🥰

A wonderful team of four CHP wives came together to treat the Red Bluff office to a full dinner of lasagna, salad, sourdough focaccia and dessert! 🍝🥗🥖

This is what CHP Appreciation Day is all about. Families supporting families and showing our officers how much we appreciate all they do. 💙

All across California, our mini celebrations are starting as we honor the Guardians of the Golden State and celebrate the California Highway Patrol’s 97th Anniversary! ⭐️

Over the coming days, I’ll be sharing photos from CHP offices throughout the state as our incredible CHP wives, families and supporters come together to show our officers just how appreciated they are.

Here’s to another year of gratitude, community, and celebrating those who serve. 💙💛
