Amazing Mini Miracles

Sweetie visited a group in Memory Care. After introducing herself to everyone in the room, she entertained them by playing with her tarp. Then, she decided to lie down. Many of the residents had never seen a horse lie down before. One resident was so touched by it that tears ran down her face. Then the Activity Director, who had earlier given Sweetie a banana, went down to Sweetie and put her head to Sweetie's head. It was a very sweet moment. We had already been there for over an hour, but everyone wanted to stay until Sweetie got up.

A little history on Sweetie: When we first brought Sweetie home as a rescue, she wouldn't let anyone near her for three days. Then, after some time passed, she let Paul clip her a little each time. He would stop whenever she was uncomfortable. It took quite a few sessions, but we were finally able to put hearts fully around her neck like a necklace. (Thank you, Sam, for the special necklace you gave her.)
