ELKS #354 AUXILIARY MEMBERS — REGISTRATION LETTER
Our registration letters went out a little later than planned this year, so please keep an eye on your mailbox! In the meantime, I am posting the letter here so everyone has the information for our upcoming 2026–2027 Auxiliary season.
Dear Member,
As we begin another year with the Elks #354 Auxiliary, we are excited to welcome you back and thank you for your continued support. Our Auxiliary plays an important role in supporting the Lodge, giving back to our community, and enjoying meaningful fellowship together.
We hope you will join us throughout the year and help make the 2026–2027 season another successful and rewarding one!

Evening Schedule
🍹 Social Hour: 5:30 p.m.
🍽️ Dinner: 6:15 p.m.
📋 Meeting: Approximately 7:00 p.m.
💳 MEMBERSHIP DUES & CARD
Enclosed with your letter you will find your Auxiliary membership card. Please complete the card and return it with your $20.00 annual dues payment.
If you are a current Elks member, your Auxiliary dues will be paid by the Lodge. Please be sure to indicate this on your card.
Please circle the category that applies to you:
ELK • SPOUSE • WIDOW
All Auxiliary members will be issued a membership card.
Spouse and Widow cards will provide many of the same Lodge privileges as an Elks member, including:
• Entering the Lodge
• Reserving rooms for private parties
• Having dinner at the Lodge
• Participating in Lodge activities
⚠️ IMPORTANT — ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE PURCHASES
A Spouse or Widow card does not allow the cardholder to purchase alcoholic beverages. This restriction is required under the rules of the Michigan Liquor License.
Current Elks members will continue to use their Elks membership privileges as usual.
🙋♀️ MONTHLY COMMITTEE SIGN-UP
On the back of your membership card, please circle the month(s) you would be willing to serve on a committee. Your help is greatly appreciated and allows us to share the responsibilities of our monthly meetings.
Monthly Committee Member Duties:
• Bring an item for the raffle. Items of your choice are welcome, and baked goods are also accepted.
• Help set up the tables for the meeting. Set-up begins at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting, if you are available.
• Sell raffle tickets. Ticket sales begin at 5:30 p.m. during Social Hour.
• Draw the winning raffle numbers and help distribute the prizes to the winners.
We understand that not everyone is able to help with every duty. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated!
🍽️ AUTOMATIC DINNER RESERVATION LIST
You may sign up for the Automatic Dinner Reservation List on your membership card.
If you choose this option, your dinner reservation will automatically be made each month, so you will not need to call in a reservation.
🚨 IMPORTANT FOR THE SEPTEMBER MEETING
The Automatic Dinner Reservation List will NOT be in place yet for our first meeting.
EVERYONE planning to have dinner at the September 10 meeting must call or text Jayne at 906-786-7871 to make a reservation.
If you choose not to be on the Automatic Dinner Reservation List, please remember to call or text Jayne with your dinner reservation by the Monday before each meeting.
Remember: You are always welcome to attend the meeting without having dinner. No reservation is needed if you are attending the meeting only.
We hope you will make plans to join us throughout the year. The Auxiliary is a wonderful organization, and its success depends on the friendship, participation, and support of our members.
