United Way of Delta County

A single gift rarely stops with just one person. It reaches a child through a mailed book, a family through a shared car ride, a classroom through a student who arrives more prepared. That's the ripple effect we see every day in Delta County, and it's exactly why fall giving matters so much.

With 66.3% of local third graders not yet proficient in reading, small actions add up to real change over time. Ready to start your own ripple? Give at uwdelta.org/donate.

This is what it looks like to .
Right here in Delta and Schoolcraft Counties participating children receive a free book every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
Behind every book is a community of people who believe in the power of giving—our donors, volunteers, local partners and supporters who help make this program possible.
Today, September 25, Give Like Dolly Day, you can help us reach even more children and families in our area. Every gift helps us continue building a community where children can grow up surrounded by the joy of books and reading.
Help us make an even bigger impact!

Had a great time this morning on the air with TJ and Tommy at Radio Results Network celebrating Give Like Dolly Day! Special thanks to Josh Barron from Midwest Truck Driving School - CDL Training for joining us! Josh and his wife are the parents of four young children who have all participated in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. He shared the positive impacts his family has seen and encouraged other businesses and individuals to join him in supporting our local Imagination Library.

Today, we’re celebrating the people who .
To everyone who has donated, volunteered, spread the word, partnered with us or simply believes every child should have books of their own: thank you.
Because of you, participating children in Delta and Schoolcraft Counties receive a free book every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Your generosity helps bring the joy of reading into homes, spark imaginations and create special moments between children and the people who love them.
Dolly often called her Local Imagination Library Partners the “true heroes” of her program. We’re so grateful to have a community that continues that spirit of giving.
Thank you for helping us carry on Dolly's legacy by giving back to the enrolled children of Delta and Schoolcraft Counties.

Give Like Dolly Day is today, September 25!
Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger—and this year, we’re celebrating that spirit right here through Give Like Dolly Day.
On September 25, we’re inviting our community to join us in giving back to children by supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Delta and Schoolcraft Counties. Your support helps make it possible for children in our community to receive a free, high-quality book every month from birth to age 5. Please donate today!
