I could think of all kinds of thing's the entire community needs to keep growing using the kind of funding it will take to build the previous plan.
This one seems better thought out. And really considers the safety of the students. With teachers and staff strategically placed.
In my opinion, it's worth it.
I do hope there are other upgrades for the students. Upgrades that make them want to be there. Upgrades that also focus on good mental health. And also acceptence amongst all students.
This is important because I've heard a lot over the many year's I've been in Jewell County that new or, students from outside the local communities get picked on, teased or bullied.
When I was young and I moved to New schools the entire school came to the office to greet me. One school was in California and the other in Mississippi, so maybe it was just what those schools did at the time?
But it very much worked to build confidence and make friends of everyone.
Might want to do that for everyone on the first day of school?
I'm voting yes on this.
On the other issue,
Again my opinion is that it's too costly.
And choices on one or the other are not available.
Or basically like Ford said, "You can have any color you want as long as it's black.
I don't believe that the people should be sold on any kind of manipulation at all. It's not right to play with wording to bottle neck people into doing what you want them to do.
We are better than that.
All that being said, we could debate this for year's and not get anything done.
If we are not going to build a smaller school that caters to the small number of students then we'd better start planning a future of growth for this county. So be careful who you vote in, and make sure they want growth.
Of course this is all my opinion on the matter.
And a yes vote for new HVAC.
